Biography

Ms. Anam Shahid is a former corporate professional transitioned to academia. She has been Foundation Program Specialist and headed Level 3 foundation Program in Business/ Management for several education institutions in UAE.For almost ten years she has supported institutions in initial phase of program to developing the portfolio to a successful extent where students complete course in every cohort with a 100% success. Along with that she is an expert in BTEC business qualification L3-L7. She is a Certified Assessor, Certified Lead IQA experienced External Verifier and now a FHEA,UK She has been a Keynote Speaker at the Eurasia Research Conferences in the past and has Trained Delegates in the Armed Services for Strategic Management and leadership. She has been an official participant at the Guinness World Record made in UAE. She believes that teaching is done best when a complex theory or a lesson is made easy for the learners so that they enjoy the lesson and engage themselves in it. At Westford, She is a Faculty and Course leader for B.Sc. Hons in Business Management and Coordinator for MBA International programs. Anam is pursuing her PhD from University of Salford currently in her second year.
