Biography

Dr. Vera Ndrecaj is a Senior Lecturer and the CSM Enterprise Project Manager (Gulf College MBA). She is an experienced University Lecturer, Researcher, and Consultant with a demonstrating history of working in the higher education industry. Prior to joining the CSM, Dr. Ndrecaj was a Lecturer in Supply Chain Management at the University of South Wales where she has successfully directed undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Dr. Ndrecaj earned her Ph.D. at the University of South Wales, UK. Her research explored the concept of Dynamic Capabilities in the context of Strategic Procurement. Dr. Ndrecaj also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Glamorgan, a PGCHE from the University of South Wales, a BA (Hons) in Business and Management from the Glamorgan University, a BTEC from the Glamorgan University, an HND from Glan Hafren College, and Prince2 form APMG International Accrediting Professional: AXELOS Global Best Practice, UK. Dr. Ndrecaj is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Member of the Institute of the Leadership and Management (MIntLM), a Member of Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (AMCIPS). She is an editorial board member at the International Journal of Business and Administrative Studies. Dr. Ndrecaj has presented at prestigious international conferences at the VU Amsterdam, Nottingham, Dublin, Manchester, and the UNISA, Pretoria, South Africa. She has been invited as a keynote speaker at the international academic and professional gatherings. Her background and ongoing research interest are inherently inter-disciplinary. She has successfully supervised several MBA and DBA studies. She is highly interested in theories and philosophies of Management and Leadership, Sustainable Supply Chain Management and Operational Systems, and Dynamic Capabilities. She is currently writing her first book entitled “Procurement Strategic Management: Dynamic Capabilities Perspective”.
