Biography

My research adopts a qualitative methodological approach and is framed by intersectionality theory. I investigate how social categories such as gender, ethnicity, and social class intersect to shape experiences of (in)equality within work, organisational contexts, economies, and society more broadly. My research interests are situated within the fields of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), with a particular focus on how intersectional perspectives can advance understanding of systemic inequalities and power dynamics. I have a developing interest in inclusive leadership and the formation of organisational cultures, particularly within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, I am committed to inclusive and intersectional pedagogy and the advancement of equitable teaching and learning practices that recognise and value diverse student identities and experiences.
