Biography

Dr. Samuel Taiwo Abey is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with extensive experience spanning public service, banking, auditing, taxation, and corporate finance. He holds a PhD in Accounting, along with BSc and MSc degrees in Accounting (Forensic Accounting option) from Charisma University, British West Indies, and an MBA from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko. He earned his National and Higher National Diplomas in Accountancy from Osun State Polytechnic, Iree. Dr. Abey is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), UK. His career includes roles at Nigerian Breweries Plc, United Bank for Africa Plc, the Office of the Ondo State Auditor-General, and Bitumen Exploration & Exploitation Company Nig. Ltd. He currently serves in the Federal Government Public Service and remains actively engaged in professional and community development initiatives.
