Daniele Cerrato, PhD, is Professor of Business Administration at the Department of Economic and Social Sciences, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Piacenza) and Co-Director of the CERSI – the University Research Center for Entrepreneurial Development. He is associate editor of the Journal of Management and Governance and member of the Editorial Board of International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal. In 2002-2003 he was visiting scholar at the Kelley School of Business of Indiana University (Bloomington) and in 2013 at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business of Northeastern University, Boston. His research focuses on antecedents and outcomes of internationalization, SME international expansion, and corporate scope decisions. His research has appeared in the Global Strategy Journal, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, Long Range Planning, and Management International Review, among others.
