Abstract
Innovation environments lack robust, standardised instruments to measure their economic, social, and environmental impacts. To address this gap, this study proposes a multidimensional performance evaluation model applicable to various innovation mechanisms. This qualitative exploratory-descriptive research is based on a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). We analysed 101 scientific articles from the Web of Science, filtered by the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS) ABS List. Content analysis yielded a taxonomic tree of indicators structuring the evaluation across five dimensions: Social, Financial, Technological, Infrastructure, and Human Capital. This conceptual model links these capitals systemically, overcoming the reliance on fragmented, predominantly financial metrics. Ultimately, the proposed framework enhances decision-making for enterprise managers and provides a stronger foundation for designing public policies for innovation ecosystems.
