Abstract
The current failure to properly communicate risk results in a fatality rate of "1.92 per 100,000" people. This issues stems from both systematic and behavioural issues as in order to create safer working environments the mentality of people in both site level and managerial position needs to change. Changes to the way information is conveyed to working staff can prompt better responses from site level staff, developing line of communication so hazards can be reported and dealt with before causing harm. This paper assesses the current shortfalls of briefing techniques currently being used in construction projects. Also, it reviews the implementation of developing Artificial Intelligence technologies such as closed domain AI. Research will be carried using a questionnaire with both qualitative and quantitative question, this research aims to highlight the perceived setbacks of modern briefing methods and investigate the effectiveness of AI based briefing solutions.
