Abstract
Innovation process in organisations often involves collaboration between different actors in a setting, that encourages relationships between them and can be beneficial from an innovation standpoint, aiding in discovery of novel concepts and opportunities. Research paper conceptualises on how a large corporation CEO's social capital and relationship-based approach have an impact on organizational innovation strategies.
Paper addresses the issue: Does CEO social capital influences corporate innovation? Empirical evidence suggests that organizational profiles mirror senior management characteristics where CEO of a company provides essential leadership, social capital, and credibility, and carry out strategic initiatives that influences innovation. Paper thus examines the literature on innovation and CEOs’ social capital dimensional effects to determine its impact as an explanatory factor for innovation. Social capital consists of a community's networks and trust, loyalty, and reliability that people have built with one another. CEOs' social interactions not only help them expand their worldviews but also guarantee that their perspectives and judgments are in sync with that of their connections. Furthermore, paper have demonstrated that CEOs’ external links affect the transfer of various organizational innovations between businesses.
