Abstract
The present developmental paper includes a discussion of early-stage research pertaining to a military and civilian collaboration that began at a United States military academy ('X') in the Fall of 2022. At that time, X faculty were working together to develop and deliver curriculum across six different sections of Organizational Behavior and Leadership. Since then, the collaboration has expanded, and X faculty have shared the academy’s approach to OB&L curriculum development with leadership faculty at two other schools: ‘Y’ University and ‘Z’ College. The present work is therefore composed of early-stage insights from four faculty members who are working across the borders of three distinct institutions of higher education—X, Y, and Z—to adopt, develop, and innovate approaches to leadership curriculum development and instruction. By sharing the progress of this collaboration, its authors hope to foster conversations and to garner insights towards developing the present work into one that can contribute to the discipline and understanding of leadership.
