Abstract
This paper outlines some initial findings from the research investigating stakeholders' perceptions of readiness for blockchain technology implementation in the healthcare sector. The research uses the exploratory research approach drawing on documentary and empirical data, for example, official reports published by international and regional organizations and in-depth semi-structured interviews with relevant healthcare sector stakeholders. The paper illustrates the secondary data analysis and offers insights into the facilitating and restraining forces in blockchain technology adoption decisions. It is a developmental paper, and the primary data analysis is in progress.
