Abstract
In the dynamic realm of healthcare, nurses are pivotal, ensuring high-quality care and patient well-being. This study dives into the complex relationship between nurses' organizational commitment and their resilience, spotlighting the crucial role of family and external support. Through qualitative interviews across varied healthcare settings, we explored their personal experiences and strategies for balancing professional demands and psychological contracts. Our findings highlight diverse commitment approaches, from intrinsic passion for caregiving to career-oriented pragmatism. Family support notably enhances job satisfaction and resilience, advocating for management strategies that cater to different nurse profiles. This research underscores the importance of a supportive environment that encourages both professional growth and personal well-being, suggesting a holistic approach to nurse retention and satisfaction.
