Abstract
Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a well-established organizational development philosophy and approach that fosters a positive transformation within an organization. This study sheds light on the evolving trends of real-world interest in AI by analyzing Google Trends data from 2018 to 2023. Using “Appreciative Inquiry” as a key term, the study investigates temporal and seasonal trends, related search inquiries, and geographical variations in AI interest. Through real-time data analysis, the findings reveal the intervals of increased or decreased public interest, specific aspects of AI that attract attention, and geographic hotspots of AI interest. These findings offer valuable insights into the evolution and trends of AI interest, users’ specific AI-related inquiries and preferences, and locations where AI research and activities are thriving. The study has the potential to influence the future direction of AI research and offers practical guidance for practitioners and organizations seeking to align their practices with current AI trends.
