Abstract
Organizations are the potential source for socio-economic change. What do organizations do to create a growth momentum in a nation? They become a powerful medium of economic change through innovation. To stir economic change, organizations need to empower employees and employees are said to be the driving force in bringing essential innovation within the organization. Employees within the organization are the change-makers. The sustenance of organization depends on employees’ ability to initiate change through their innovativess, proactiveness and risk-taking attitude. Employees constantly look for opportunities that would yield organization growth and gaining competitive advantage. They are the core-competence which organization leverages when there is a pressing need to outperform against their competitors. Studying employees intrapreneurial behavior is essential to organizational survival. In this paper, we would be analyzing employees intrapreneurial behavior with respect to exploration of opportunities by adding fresh perspective to the existing literature as well as exploring new theoretical dimensions.
