Biography

Dr. Amit K Dwivedi earned his doctoral degree (Ph. D.) in Industrial Finance from Faculty of Commerce, University of Lucknow in year 2007. His doctoral dissertation is on understanding various entrepreneurial finance issues in Handmade Paper Industry (an export oriented indigenous industry)’. He started his regular teaching career in year 2007. He has worked at Amity University and Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A). Currently, he is working at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India-Ahmedabad (EDII-Ahmedabad) as a Faculty. He is part of the ‘Global Entrepreneurship Monitor India Team’ and as National Team Member he could co-author four GEM India Reports (2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18). Honorable Governor of Uttar-Pradesh awarded him for his contributions towards entrepreneurship development initiatives.
