Abstract
The study explores the impact of organizational socialization and emotional intelligence on career success of millennial women working in diverse sectors in India. Although emotional intelligence is often viewed as a key factor in career advancement, research shows that corporate socialization is a stronger predictor of workplace success. This paper uses a quantitative research design that includes a survey of 120 female millennial professionals aged 21–45 with at least one year of work experience. Career success, organizational socialization, and emotional intelligence was assessed using a validated questionnaire. The results indicate correlation analysis that there is a moderate correlation between emotional intelligence and organizational socialization, and a strong correlation between organizational socialization and career success. A regression analysis also shows that organizational socialization is the most important predictor of career success, while emotional intelligence does not strongly influence success. This indicates that workplace integration structured through mentorship programs and professional networking are more important for millennial women's career success than emotional competencies by themselves.
