Abstract
Globally industries and corporate setups are experiencing significant changes in the competency and skill profiles desired by the industry, and coping to this change and emergent phenomenon, traditional skill sets have become redundant. The changing workplace configuration across different industrial setups has created an urgency on the part of people centric functional areas to align their skill sets and competencies in tandem with the industrial requirements. Central to this argument, rests the responsibility of academic stakeholders to assess the relevance and desirability of academic skills taught over a significant period of time for Industry 4.0. In this direction the present paper attempts to assess the effectiveness of Post Graduate HRD Curriculum in Higher Educational Institutions amongst Indian Students in HEI’s.
