Abstract
Utilising a SoTL approach this development paper seeks to make public the informal collaborative work of the co-authors based on their shared experience of teaching personal development (PD) modules on Senior Leader Apprenticeship programmes. SoTL has increasingly come to the fore within our institutions given the prevalence of teaching-based contracts which place more emphasis on the continued development of teaching and learning.
As we develop our own increased understanding of the benefits of adopting a SoTL approach, we have begun to chart the development of our own more reflective and reflexive practice in relation to teaching and learning. and in the spirit of SoTL are keen to take the opportunity to make these insights public.
