Abstract
This paper explores the role of Business Schools in delivering on the People’s Plan for Nature: an innovative, inclusive and representative plan to protect and restore nature in the UK. As educational institutions and collaborators in the world of business, Business Schools are well positioned to actively deliver on some key aspects of the plan. In the first part, the paper will analyse and map the recommendations of the plan from the specific location of the Business School. In the second part, it turns to the lessons which can be derived from the process which delivered the People’s Plan. I analyse the process as an example of 'democratic caring' which I propose as a valuable tool for business schools in the revaluation of, and reconnection with, nature. The paper will conclude with an agenda for Business Schools in delivering the People’s Plan for Nature.
