Abstract
This research uses a systematic review and bibliometric analysis to integrate information from 552 publications that were found in three credible academic databases. The research attempts to identify the major contributions of writers and journals by looking at authorship networks and citation value. The study's co-citation analysis reveals five main thematic areas: the impact of leadership styles on team dynamics in large-scale construction projects; the negative effects of negative leadership on the well-being and success of project team members; research into the negative effects of leadership in information technology projects; the impact of project manager leadership styles on project outcomes; and tactics for managing diverse leadership styles to maximize project outcomes in a variety of environments. Following these themes, content analysis highlights new directions for future research endeavours by offering important insights into earlier studies.
