Abstract
Human collaboration is among the fundamental components of Industry 5.0, allowing stakeholders to transparently communicate their needs, expectations, and conflicts of interest to collaboratively meet Industry 5.0 sustainable development values. Human collaboration throughout supply chain operations promotes supply chain digitalisation, data transparency, environmental accountability, and skills development. A collaborative, physical, and sector-independent environment can support this collaboration among different organisations, including academia, public, and private organisations in various sectors and supply chains. However, there is no consensus on how a collaborative, human-focused, and sector-independent Centre for Digital Supply Chain Excellence can be developed, managed, and sustained within the emerging economies. This ongoing funded PhD project aims to answer the following research question: How can a human-focused and sector-independent Centre for Digital Supply Chain Excellence be developed, managed, and sustained within emerging economies?
