Abstract
This study explores the promising potential of examining sensemaking, meaningfulness, and internal CSR within the field of HRM, focusing on how the combination of sensemaking and meaningfulness relates to the impact of organizational internal CSR on employees. While sensemaking and meaningfulness have been studied in isolation in previous research, there is limited work that combines these two concepts in the context of motivational effects of internal CSR on employees. In this study a sensemaking conceptual framework is developed, having meaningfulness as a mediator, to investigate the impact of internal CSR on employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior.
