Abstract
The environmental problems are more and more serious. People are still searching for ways to overcome the pollution and environmental disruption. In this research, we aim to explore if environmental performance would be affected by digitalization. We found that digitalization has a positive effect on environmental performance. Digitalization can also affect the environment through company’s organizational green culture and green transformations. Research and development have moderating effects. Digitalization affects environmental performance more when research and development level is higher. This result can help the companies build strategies to improve their environmental performance and prompt environmental protection.
